Please Fasten Your Seatbelts..

I don't know if I'm hearing things, but I just got an Orca, and whenever I boost, the very first sound it makes before the woosh, sounds remarkably like a "Please Fasten Your Seatbelts" chime on a passenger plane...

:D

Anyone else hear it?

The poor passengers don't get long to get back to their seats and fasten in though. :D

It's a great soundscape in the Orca isn't it? First the "ding" then the ghostly whale-like sound of boost.

Hot tip for passenger safety - make sure they are all seated before boosting. They have 0.1 seconds to fasten their belts :D

Yeah, and I love it (sometimes I boost only to hear it). What would be wonderful for immersion is to be able to make PA during the flight. It's nearly there : we already have texted-PA from other airliners !

Yes! I also like the different sounds you get when you fit different passenger cabins. The "bing" for business class and what sounds like a pocket full of rattling change for economy cabins. Maybe not very 34th century but they do make me smile.

There is also a distinct clicking sound when you are banking hard in the Orca. As for the passenger call buttons, I simply pulled the fuse, "Oh sorry did you ask for something, I must of missed it, too bad we are back from your trip already I would of loved to stop and get you 4 tons of illegal narcotics."

Never have a problem with the passengers on my dolphin, they hear the "screaming banshees" before boost and are nicely huddled in then seats super quick and they certainly aren't interested in seeing the flight staff, not that I would listen anyway.
For some reason they always seem to be really happy when they get to their destination and disembark.
