As the title says it. Please stop with branding every place of the ships in every corner or crevice. And specially on the cockpits. I know that it sounds ridiculous ranting about this, but I'm kind of schizophrenic that way, and they freak/cringe me out more than I wished.
It seemed to me that, with the Odyssey update, you put the logos on the ships where they didn't exist before, like on the noses of the Python and the Corvette. Destroying for me – in part – the 'slate' for my imagination that those ships provide. But the biggest issue is that they kinda freak me out. Like some kind of tumors poping out.
I know you will not even make them with the option to disappear with the inclusion of kits – or remove them completely –, but please stop with the mania of becoming Star Citizen. It's actually one of the things that makes me relly dislike that game. Brandings and logos everywhere, even on clothings! Why you gave yourselves the trouble to go changing the ships for that, I don't know.
This really look ridiculous writing this, but the second biggest that I never bought the unlock for these new SC ships you're releasing, is that I really disliked the logos on the cockpits when I watched the videos (except for Python II and Type-8, that were already on in-credits when I returned to the game – and I kinda liked the latter one).
Is like they – the logos and branding – destroy some personal way as I see Elite. Sorry if I can't be more explicit. Verbose, but not good in expressing.
Instead of making Elite being special and universal on the personal level (and part of my interior imaginarium), you're turning it in some concise image that is getting more and more distant and cringy for the likes of me. (Biggest reason, if I am to be honest, is that money is very hard to come by these times)
Lakon is some kind of Lacoste everywhere. And Guatemaya... It's like I'm flying some Calvin Klein underwear. Even the 'G' old ships: As much as I love the courrier/clipper/cutter cockipts, that word just below the radar annoys me on the extreme. And don't get me start on the Cobra V cockpit. If is not knowing the giant logo on the door behind me, is that white drip below the radar. So, yeah: no money on the Corsair also.
Sorry for the senseless rant, but I come back to retry the game a while back, and this thing was getting on my nerves. Had to get it out of my chest and maintain the tradition of looking like an idiot to the community.
And, yes: I don't use clothes with branding or weird stuff on them. Not that I have anything against anyone who does. It's just that involuntary they give me a feeling of repulsion and cringe. Can barely look at people wearing them.
And, yes: I am officialy diagnosticated.
Thank you for your attention.
