Please FD - Toggle for SRV / Crotch Screen - To only activates when landed

I have a nice Asp with nice view downwards but navigating is a bit annoying now when a pop up screen activates the moment I look down - and that pop up is ONLY useful when landed not when I am in transit.

You can set it to only show when you explicitly select it with the UI toggle. It's in the control options (section "mode switches" around halfway down) and can be set for each of the side displays too. That way, headlook downwards works without interference, and as you mentioned, the lower display is only really useful in a few select situations so it's no big deal IMO to use the UI toggle there.

I'd go a step further. Have the option to differentiate between when in space or in SRV. In space I like that the panels on the left and right pop up when looking at them (EDtracker here), but in the SRV I prefer to pull them up using the assigned keys. Mainly I use the WASD keys for driving as well, but are the same keys to navigate the panels.

Yes, the first thing I did was to set the central screen to "do nothing" within the settings.

For now I have two control profiles. I copied the one for the ship, changed the name to SRV and changed the UI behavior. Lame, but fastest way to do this.

While they're at it they could overhaul the entire menu system, adding more stuff into the current menus would make editing the XML files by hand look comfortable.
