I'm not sure how popular apex is, but I use it all the time in odyssey, in fact I haven't used my ships at all. Why? Because almost everything i do in odyssey does not require anything my own ships can offer. Not to mention apex is so convenient theres almost no point. If I need to go and do a POI mission I just buy a cheap sidewinder to complete it.
So fdev please give us the ability to either use our npc pilots or an additional crew member as something that can ferry us to stations and settlements and bring our ships into relevance in odyssey, because as it stands odyssey is so disconnected from everything else. Imo I would much prefer my own ship ferrying me than an apex shuttle.
Some ideas with this to make it slightly less convenient than apex would be cost (npc crew already charge a % of your profits), perhaps they can only be hired at bars or inside stations/settlements.
