Hi Frontier Team,
First of all, I want to thank you for the incredible work you’ve done with Planet Zoo and its updates. The attention to detail in the animals has been remarkable, and as a longtime fan of the game, I’ve always appreciated the care that goes into each species.
However, I was quite disheartened to see the model for the Pallas Cat that’s set to release in the upcoming DLC. The Pallas Cat holds a special place in my heart, and while I understand that some artistic interpretation is inevitable, I noticed a few key features that don’t quite capture the essence of this unique animal:
I know how much effort goes into each model, but I also believe that the Manul deserves a bit more attention to fully reflect its wonderfully odd and adorable features. As someone who absolutely adores this species, I’m hopeful that the team might consider a slight rework to make it more true to life.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I truly appreciate your hard work. I’m excited to see what’s next for Planet Zoo and hope you’ll consider this feedback!
Best regards

The Pallas Cat holds a special place in my heart, and while I understand that some artistic interpretation is inevitable, I noticed a few key features that don’t quite capture the essence of this unique animal:
- The face seems too narrow, missing that distinctive roundness and broad, flat snout that make the cat so recognizable.
- The ears appear set too high on the head, when in reality, they sit low and almost blend into the face.
- The eyes, while expressive, don’t have the correct shape, which contributes to the cat’s peculiar look.
I know how much effort goes into each model, but I also believe that the Manul deserves a bit more attention to fully reflect its wonderfully odd and adorable features.
