PLEASE give us a way to get rid of animals we can not release to the wild

Hey there,

so, sometimes I accidently click on the wrong animal on the market. Or my zoo is changing plans and I dpn't want to keep a species anympre. These things happen all the time in real life. Zoos find a good home for these animals, as almost none of them can be released into the wild. But me, in sandbox? Stuck with them forever. I have a polar bear in my trading center that is just blocking a spot, because I have no room in my zoo for a polar bear.

Or maybe I want to changethe lion males, as I want to keep breeding with his daughters. I can not do that, when he was bought with cash as I can not give him away. Not even for a fee. I rememberthis was an option in beta - why was it deleted? Can you please add this back?

EDIT for those who only read the first post:I was dumb. Obvisously the animals were injured. Send them to quarant. and you can quick trade them afterwards. Sorry for complaining.

If I get one I can't get rid of from the trade center I put him in a habitat. 99% of the time he's injured so I call the vet. After he's healed and brought back I send him back to the trade center and then I can get rid of him on quick trade.

Can't you quick trade for cash?
No.

It doesn't say anything on the profile. But I'll send her to quarantine and seeif it helps. Thanks for the tip!

It's worked for me several times now. Never says anything about it being injured while in the trade center. Odd we can adopt injured animals but we can't get rid of them.

You were right! The quaranteen fixed the problem and I can quick trade them all. I'm sory for complaining. Wasn't a bug nor a missing feature, just me being dumb...

You're not dumb. The game really should indicate an injured animal so we would know what to do. We aren't born knowing these game mechanics. Imagine how frustrating this kind of thing must be for the people who don't use the forums or Reddit for help.

I get your point and I agree partly. On the other hand, in real life you also only know something is wrong with an animal when it passes quaranten. I think there should be an easier way to send an animal there. Like, a button right from the trade center. There isn't one, is there? I always have to search for the building in my zoo and put the animal there manually, which is why I often skip the process.

There is no button to send an animal to quarantine from the trade center but I think when we click Send to Zoo we could choose the quarantine instead of a habitat. I'll have to test that today. It would be better than a habitat.

You can, but you have to hover over the quarantine and move it there. Which is whybuild one in every section of my zoo now, to not scroll forever.

It took me ages to figure out why some animals couldn't be on-sold and some could. I only figured out when I got frustrated and just tossed the animal into the habitat even though I didn't want it, only to suddenly get the message saying that it was injured.

That said, it's still an annoying quirk for Sandbox Mode, since you have to buy animals in order to refresh the market. Nothing more frustrating than buying an animal intending to offload it straight away, only to find you have to send it to quarantine, then wait for it to go to the vet, then back to quarantine, then to the trade centre before you can get rid of it.

The market refreshes after a few minutes for me though... but yeah, you have to hit play and let time in your zoo past. That can be annoying.

Yeah the icons appear over the building when you click on send to zoo.

I didn't realize quick trade wasn't an option unless the animals went through the quarantine first. Sending to quarantine is always the first thing I do but I've never bought animals just to clear up the market.

Quick trade is always an option. You only have to send them to quarantine if they arrive sick or injured off the market. If they're healthy you can quick trade instantly.

Yes, it took me ages, too. And again: is the "help"-menu any help? No, it isn't. It succs! Every time you encounter a problem ingame you have to spent ages watching youtube and searching the web.
