7 tonnes in the hold, it isnt because its illegal, it isnt because its black market - it simply will not leave the cargo hold - all i get is unable to complete transaction

So you can't sell it even on the Black market?

This was an old bug, looks like it may still be around in certain circumstances, ticket it, with game not working.

Zombie cargo is a bug, triggered by a quirky transaction server I believe. Some people reported selling (for instance) a fuel scoop and buying a cargo rack in return, then buying one commodity and selling it again would unbug you, but I never managed to unbug myself. All I could do was self destruct my clipper and get a new ship. Ticketed the thing, updated it after a week but never heard anything ever since.

Bugged cargo, you have 2 options.

1) wait X weeks for tech support to reply to you
2) self destruct to reset the cargo bay. You may or may not wish to downgrade your ship first to make the insurance cheaper.

"I have 8 Tarach Spice stuck in my Asp. Can not change ships or swap cargo bays. I also cannot jettison cargo although it sounds and looks like I did until returning to port and checking commodities. I tried solo and open but it looks like I have to self destruct in order to continue playing because that is probably the only way to solve this one. My guess is that I purchased the rares during an earlier version and something went wonky. Cheers :D"

I've checked your account and it says your Cargo bay is currently empty.

Did you find a way to resolve this issue or did you self destruct in the end?

I had to self destruct to get rid of it cost me a cool million and loss of the rare profits bwhahaha

See, this is why we need to walk around our ships, you could be in the ship's kitchen playing cooking simulator with your spice.

I had the same problem. I ticketed it to devs but after week of waiting and trying everything else i decided to self desctruct..... and it worked!
