Please help! Can't find federation rank up mission.

So i have been grinding out the federation ranks and i finally got 100% on my current rank but i am not finding a rank up mission so i can get to the next rank. I have tried board hopping, Going to another system and coming back, logging out and logging back in. I have tried many ways to spawn in a mission but theres been nothing. Please help.

Don't think there's any real trick to it.

Just keep taking fed' missions and a rank-up mission will appear within half an hour or so.
Make sure you're in a ship capable of taking, say, a smuggling or delivery mission though.

Hmm... I have had both fed' and emp' rank at 100% for a few weeks. During that time I have done dozens of emp' missions and probably a few fed' missions too. I'm not in the bubble now, but I'll try this soon.

Being allied i think helps. But don't worry because you won't lose any rep gained while sat at 100%, you could rank up and already be 15-20% to the next rank.

Well, speaking as somebody with some recent *ahem* "intense" experience of doing naval missions, I found that the rank-up missions would always appear wherever I'd been doing the missions to increase my rank.
They wouldn't appear as soon as I hit 100% but one would always appear by the time I'd done another dozen missions or so, which just goes toward your next promotion.

I've been in the position of spending weeks waiting for a rank-up mission too.
As far as I can see, the only real "trick" is to just stick to grinding rank in a handful of places and the rank-up missions WILL appear in those places eventually.

Suppose it's worth mentioning that somebody said rank-up missions appear more frequently in systems in conflict or in outbreak (presumably because the navy is present in those systems) but I'm not sure that's true.
For me, they just seem to pop up within about half an hour of play, wherever I happen to be working at naval rank.

As much as i know you don't need to go far if your in a system with that state. The mission that i got took me to a system in that state 94ly away

Sometimes if you go to another system and do some missions there and then go back to the other system, they ranking mission will appear. I had this same problem with both Fed and Imps.

By the time you've done enough missions to get a faction up to Allied, you'll be seeing Navy missions on the mission board from time to time. If not, move on. Beta Hydri is as good a place as any :)

"Rank-up" missions will only be offered by LOCAL, Fed-aligned factions that you are considered Cordial (OK), Friendly (better) or Allied (best) with. Go to a station that has FED-Aligned, LOCAL factions that you are considered Cordial, Friendly or Allied with and look for the mission with the words NAVY or NAVAL in the mission title. If you are not Cordial, Friendly or Allied with the FED-Aligned, LOCAL factions simply run doody missions for them until you are.
