LostWinds Please help, stuck in summerfall pass

I just purchased the game and i love it! But i am stuck in summerfall pass... In the beginning of the game, in the part where you can die if you get too cold..... I'm in a part where you can dig up a big seed, and it can be planted again... also there is a torch but it is high up, so you have to jump, to get warm, and a big slope to the left of the screen.... I been trying everything but can't seem to figure this out!

From the sound of it you're still quite early into your adventure.

You won't be able to get through Summerfalls Pass until a bit later on...
So for now just return to Summerfalls Ravine & explore the rest of the area for another exit.
