CQC Please improve CQC

In Left 4 Dead 2, we have two ways to find a game:
1. Quick join. It would show you a game automatically.
2. Custom search. We could filter difficulty and choose the campaigns. If we don't find the game we want, we could create a lobby.

Now CQC only has "quick join" and it isn't quick enough.
We can't check how many games exists and how long we should wait for.

Is it possible to add "custom search" for us?
We can create a public lobby,or access the list of match and join a game there.
It's really hard for me to find a match and I think it would be better with those enhancement.

Also we can only invite friends in CQC menu so far.
I hope we could invite them in the lobby too especially when we need more pilots to start a game.

Finally it's very very inconvent that we can't chat in CQC menu and lobby.
Please consider to enhance it.

The population is way too low right now for MMR to be reliable enough to put everyone into a game with people of their skill level, this results in people with high MMR like hodxer, myself, and others to have to wait in queues for hours on end at times. If we could create custom lobbies I think that would mitigate most of these issues, as well as to allow for organized play. Please consider this FD.

Handycaps for advanced players? I'm not very good, but I'd gladly take a 50% reduction in damage done to get into a match quicker. It's a bummer we can't see all the matches running, and choose one ourselves. I'd play in a lower class with handycaps or join a game with advanced players in a heartbeat if it meant getting into a game.

All these threads are pointless because so far FD have refused to respond to requests to make stats available despite multiple requests (including a poll from me).

We can't complain about the matchmaking being the problem when we can't tell if the problem is that only three people globally are trying to play.

Note to FD:

Question - If I log in today and can see theres only 10 players online I can set my expectation of getting a match appropriately. I might wait i might decide to try later.

Question - If I log in today, see no information and wait 30 mins before giving up, will I come back again?

Answer : Maybe once, maybe twice, after that? Who really knows.

I'm betting you are seeing a pretty sharp drop in the numbers of players over time. If I'm right, then only part of that is due to the matchmaking. Quite a lot is down to you setting the expectations poorly.

I love CQC and have played a lot with very little issue getting in. I'm in the UK so play at peak hours (probably). Yet I still haven't managed to get into a game of CTF even after waiting over 10 minutes. That tells me we have too few players rather than there being a matchmaking problem.

PLEASE don't screw this up. Not everyone likes CQC but I see huge potential. Stop hamstringing it.
