Please increase ammo pools and free up basic synthesis

A number of weapons such as multi-cannons continue to come with the same ammo reserve they had before 2.1 Engineering.

These reserves are completely inadequate for apex 1v1 PvP combat. Now that the target may have 50% shield resistances, high-regen bi-weave, g5 dirty drives for evasion, high hull resistances and massively increased shield and hull hp, on top of SCB's, it is normal to run out of ammo multiple times in a single lengthy engagement.

My small ship duels (against experienced opponents) typically last for over 10-20 minutes with endless synthesis required.

In short the ammo reserves have been outdated.

Please, therefore consider:

1. Across-the-board ammo reserve increases.

2. Causing basic synthesis to reload the whole reserve, not half.

3. Reducing all basic synthesis recipes to requiring only 1 of each ingredient.

4. Increasing mat storage beyond 1,000.

I am currently spending a lot of my time just gathering materials, to the point that sometimes I log in to the game, realise I am out of synth, and log out because I don't want to go mat gathering and can't PvP effectively without reloads. Please fix!

I actually agree with some of it.

Even in PvE, the ammo count can be too low.

A stock class 1 guided missile launcher can hold 6/6. Not exactly useful. Lol

I don't mind the low magazine count on them, it's a small weapon. But the reserve ammo is too low.
6/32 would be quite comfortable.
High capacity engineer mods can then be nerfed a bit to stop you having a daft endless supply of ammo.

As more material use, what they currently use is fine IMHO.

But, rather than blanket increase all material storage, let us have "stacks" of say, 50 or 99 per material.
 
Can't really disagree, for prolonged stuff, ammo weapons run out quite fast.

That said missiles are low stock for a reason, so don't think they need to get more ammo?

Well, even if they just buffed multis with increased ammo, that alone would help a lot. It gets really annoying. I would definitely be for increasing ammo reserves, and I'd also slightly reduce the reload times as well, if you force us to use autoloader you pretty much made all the other special effects meaningless. Now, before someone complains, I don't mean doing it to the point of mindless spray'n'pray, just a slight improvement across the board would help a lot and remove some of the tedium.

Another suggestion that I have would be for stations to sell basic synthesis materials; there are people only interested in combat, whether it be pvp or pve, and forcing them to go through the boring srv grind is just not good gameplay mechanics. If you want premium reloads you still have to go find the mats, but you should be able to buy the basic reload packs and just get back into it without spending hours on an activity you really don't want to do.

I had an idea.

If they gave all weapons an overall capacity. Say, for multiuse, 5,000 rounds.
Default weapon holds 500 in the magazine, 4500 in reserve.

Then adjust the engineers so you can increase the reserve ammo capacity at the cost of magazine capacity.
Or
Increase the maximum magazine capacity at the cost of reserve ammo capacity.
Or, both for reload time.
Or something.
