Why not place the barriers, save the habitat as a blueprint and then place the blueprint again?
I know duplicating is faster/easier, but wouldn't that work as well?
Thanks for this suggestion. It's a good idea and to be honest I hadn't thought of it because I generally only save buildings etc. as blueprints and build habitats to suit each map.
The parts I want to save are not habitats (more sort of scenery/room dividers but required to be barriers to keep water from one part of the map out of others). But I suppose I could join up the ends so they're continous, add a habitat door, save as a blueprint, put the blueprint down where I want it, unjoin the barriers and remove the habitat door.
I'd still like a duplicate barriers function to reduce these excess steps but your suggestion will still save me a lot of time versus creating them all from scratch.
