Please let us bring NPC crew with us on the ground.

It would be awesome to be able to command your npc crew on the ground, asking them to attack or defend, to gather plant samples, or just to jog around in a circle while you shoot at their feet and sing a cowboy song.

We can send them out in our fighters, after all. Then why not have them as backup on the ground?

As a pure gamemode soloist I would also like a small npc squad, say three plus cmdr. Seems like Frontier are not keen on force multiplication though ?

This doesn't mean we won't be able to take SLF-fighter NPCs with us to the surface. I agree though that it is doubtful.

I'm basically advocating having my crew mate be present at all times. The SLF commands are almost entirely transferable (even dock works and would transfer to "return to the ship")

If what was said above is true... The same way they fly with wingmates in solo or drive with other people in SRVs in solo or have ship crew mates in solo. ..... It amazes me that FD don't consider NPC equivalent for these features a priority.....
