Powerplay Please make an effort to give us the possibilty to better identify with the power we choose

Hi, i'm new to ED and i i'm just going through all the stuff that the game has to offer. So far i like Bounty Hunting the and driving around on planets the best (yes, i bought the expansion as well). I recently tried out Powerplay and apart from it being complicated and having to read lot's of stuff online (i only half-joke to my friends that with ED you spent one third of your time (re-)configuring your controls, one third researching online and one third in the actual game) i am astonished how little effort they put into making you identify with your chosen power. For example i went to the HQ of my power and there is zero indication in the game world itself about that. I would expect to see some banners or different colors (every power has it's distinct color on the galaxy map fater all) or whatever in the factions home system stations. And why can't we paint our ships according to our chosen power? Or buy a         bobble head of the heads of states or anything like that? I see this as a lot of wasted potential. Also, why do i only get 10 merits for carrying some documents to a system no matter how far away it is or if it makes any sense. Wouldn't it be better to calculate the merits you get by the amount of work you put in and if it actually makes any sense for your power? Right now the system doesn't care about any of this.

Totally agree! Powerplay decals, powerplay bobbles, powerplay paint schemes. I'll pay 10 bucks for a paint job of my power for every ship! Something like that would raise $$$$ easy for pretty much what amounts to a few days work per set of paint jobs.

Also maybe change each powers Station into a unique handcrafted station?? Something that would reflect their flavor.

yes, something i'm missing in various aspects of the game, not only powerplay.

you have rank in a navy? why don't navy ships hail you with your rank?

you are in a theocracies station? shouldn't they represent their believe somehow?

etc.

but we have 8 upcoming years with this game :)

Powerplay Bobbleheads exist (Two have been seen, Patreus and Winters), when they turn up is anyones guess. I'd say 2.1.
