Something that bothered me the first time I had my ship immediately destroyed by an Elite rank Anaconda and that has now annoyed me the second time; why is this worth ~150,000 Cr?
I spent a good hour, maybe an hour and a half hunting through several USS points picking up tips and information on how to get closer to my target. Eventually I got some reliable information that my target had just jumped to a system next door. I scouted it out and shortly I was greeted again by an Elite Anaconda. I said to myself "Surely things can't go as badly as they did last time. After all, I have an upgraded Cobra worth about 2.5 million credits!" but I was extremely wrong.
Don't get me wrong; I really love these mission types. Gathering information and tracking your target over several systems is a lot of fun for me. But is 140,000 credits really a fair price when you can easily rack up that much in the same amount of time farming wanted pilots in USS, RES and Nav points? Some people might say I just need to become a better pilot, but even an expert pilot understands that putting 1:30-2 hours into something like that for such a low amount isn't worth it.
Here's an example of the type of progression I would expect:
Let me know if you think this scaling should be different. Maybe even approaching a million credits for an elite anaconda.

Here's an example of the type of progression I would expect:
- Cobra Mk. 3
- Expert - 120,000
- Master - 140,000
- Dangerous - 160,000
- Deadly - 180,000
- Elite - 200,000
- Asp
- Expert - 160,000
- ...
- Elite - 240,000
- Imperial Clipper
- Expert - 200,000
- ...
- Elite - 280,000
- Python
- Expert - 240,000
- ...
- Elite - 320,000
- Anaconda
- Expert - 300,000
- ...
- Elite - 400,000
Let me know if you think this scaling should be different. Maybe even approaching a million credits for an elite anaconda.
