Thanks for removing the commodity requirement for engineers, but this is still a pain the behind:
Me to Base: I heard you carry Embedded Firmware and Cracked Industrial Firmaware?
Base: Maybe?
Me: Can I have 3 of either of those, please?
Base: If you scan my beacons, I might give them to you.
Me: Okay, I have scanned your becaons.
Base: You have 25 unsual encrypted files, so here is 6 more.
Me: But..
Base: Come back next week I might have some, or check another system. Bye!
The grind for these things is terrible. It's a rare drop and getting them requires you to leave that system for a week or two?
Suggestion: Please make these reset after selling the data, so it only requires the commander to leave the planet to check again (like leaving signal sources for rare materials).
By the way, making data for engineers a consumable is a bit..weird don't you think?
