Please make inactive sensor obvious

More or less what the title says. I've repaired my modules and only turned the selected ones on, somehow forgetting the sensors.

In space, you can't tell they are off as you still see planets. If you are in inhabited space you will notice as you will visually see ships in SC and not see them on sensor or in contacts. But as an explorer far away from anything you have no reference.

Anyway, on my way to Colonia I threw quite a few hours away trying to find geysers, only noticing that the sensors are off when I arrived to Colonia and all the ships I saw were invisible to sensors. Felt pretty stupid...

ANYway, my suggestion is that the sensors screen in the ship is blank (or some other visual representation) at all times, blind for stars and planets, too. This way I'd notice sooner that something is not working as it should.

I think it fine the way it is. It kinda likes driving with no headlight on at night. At once point or another, we either get pulled over or have that something not right feeling and start looking for the problem.

You seriously like sensors half working when disabled?

It's always been confusing to me that sensors aren't necessary at all for exploration - especially considering that the Asp Explorer, the original and still archetypal exploration ship, has large sensors compared with other ships of a similar size.
