Dear Frontier, when you first announced water parks, I was really enthusiastic about building water slides: build crazy slides with hills and turns so that riders don't get thrown out of the tube was a lot of fun in RCT3 and it was what made them great.
After seeing your Videos about the slides I realized, there only seem to be some kind of coaster physics we're the rider/slider is glued to the track middle. No swinging up to the sides of a high speed curve, no falling out of the tube if the curves walls are to low or the hill to small and in the special elements it seems to follow a preplanned path, too.
Why even add higher side walls to a slide if the rider is stuck to the middle and there is no risk of falling out. This just doesn't make sense (or it is only for them to look more realistic, but with no gameplay effect).
Please take a deep dive look in how your own RCT3 soaked addon, which got this better realized 20 years ago...
I get the feeling when I watch your Videos, that you maybe had something planned here, but maybe it was to complicated or pc resource intensive, that you decided to cheap out and made slides reusing the coaster physics.
I mean even on the special Elements you show the pre-planned coaster path the sliders will take ...
Maybe the collision would need too much resources for real slide physics, but just let them swing up to the sides and when there is no slide below them (because they swung up too high) fall of the track...
Pleeaaassee give us physics back, that is an quite essential feature in my opinion. I hope I got it right, because my english isn't the best (and I can't change the title anymore).
