Please can you remove the limit on the blueprint object part count. 4K is not enough. Or give us the ability to resize parts or import our own 3D models.
When your building something detailed or large its a big problem if you want to move it or import it elsewhere. Yes I know there is a workaround with using habitat as a blueprint (which is great for importing from another zoo, and great for including landscaping). But if you have a building which totals more than 5000 pieces, even if split across multiple groups, the program won't allow moving them. It has to be done individually which makes you feel suicidal because either that requires alot of work or it's a pain aligning the groups. As soon as something is more than 5000 pieces the controls become disabled. And yet we can't group either
There are some other problems which make building difficult and tedious... two major ones I've noticed are...
1) Drift of alignment when moving/duplicating objects/groups. Basically there is a drift that occurs in the positioning as you move things. It's small but over a reasonable distance it shows up.
2) The XYZ arrows and the controls drift apart so that often the controls for switching Word/Relative etc can end up off the screen and you end up having to change your viewpoint to see them - this is a problem whilst you are trying to align things
Resolving these issues would really help
Many thanks
You know, if you give more ability with the building side to this program you'd have something really much better than Minecraft
