General / Off-Topic Please recommend me some epic sci-fi or fantasy books

I'm out of stuff to read! Just finished Brent Weeks Night Angel trilogy.

I've read far too many books to possibly list everything, so just throw me some bones and i'll see what I haven't already chewed through!

Cheers.

David (& Leigh) Eddings series: The Belgariad; The Malloreon; The Dreamers; The Elenium; The Tamuli;
Raymond Feist (as above): The Magician series;
Robert Jordan: The Wheel of Time;
Tad Williams: Memory, Sorrow & Thorn.

David (& Leigh) Eddings series: The Belgariad; The Malloreon;

AKA: How to write the same series twice and get paid for it :D

But i'll admit, i never read the other series... possibly because i felt so cheated by the time i finished the Mallorean.

Memory, Sorrow, Thorn - great series, absoloute epic. Otherland is also good, but people who complain about the grind in ED have never read the Otherland books.

The Elenium and The Tamuli are a separate "world" - and are really rather good.

Do you like space opera? If yes: "Consider Phlebas", Iain M. Banks.
I'm not sure whether to propose you the "Hothouse" by Brian Aldiss because you probably know such a classic :)

On fantasy front, I have to recommend Robert E. Howard's Conan stories. And just his original work, forget the crap that tries to ride on the name. No matter if you just chewed through it, it deserves another readthrough every year.

Mark Brandis made some nice science-fiction books, but they are already some years old. :)
