A low cost and high gain improvement.
It's for sure easy to implement, and would enhance the experience dramatically i think.
so please separate the rotational flight assist and the translational flight assist, such that I can choose which one to turn off or on.
The point is of course to turn off only the translational flight assist and keep the rotatioanl flight assist on.
Today, every smartphone, every car even watches have buit in gyroscopes/angular rate sensors (MEMS based typically). In Aircrafts and thelike Sagnac based ring-laser and fiber angular rate sensors are standard instruments for, well, i dont know, maybe even decades already.
Seeing the games state regarding physics, especially kinematics, I understand that physical plausibility only is of low interest for the developers compared to "fun gameplay" and "playability" aspects. Nevertheless please consider that some people are looking for immersion in this kind of games and that immersion is part of the "fun gameplay" for 'us'. A rotational flight assist is based on actual physics.
So, please, introduce at least a flight assist mode where the translational flight assist is turned off but rotational flight assist is still active.
I think the effects on playability and flying maneuvers are throughout positive and will engage more players to play around with the assist modes during traveling and fighting, further diversifying and enhancing the overall experience of the game.
thanks!
