Pledge Timeout?

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

I pledged to the empire lady who increases bounty payouts, but derped hard and was in a fed station, so I almost immediately unpledged,
problem now is I cant repledge now that I've made it to empire space. It's grayed out.

I know there is some "hunt" feature, but that usually only matters if you;ve actually done something as far as i've read, and I didnt even make it off the landing pad before unpledging.

Am I missing something?

Even, when you leave a faction, a cool down timer starts before you can repledge. In beta, this was half a day. Might be longer in live.

There is a cooldown timer before you can pledge again. It's stated on the power leader's profile, I believe, as well as explaining the penalties for defection.

I would've just run for it had i known I would be locked out.
