Plenty of bugs

Since the update and the aquatic dlc there seems to be many problems. The dinosaur intros from hatcherys are glitchy and jumpy. And some creatures even disappear.

The mosasaur just swims in one position then starves to death.

When you load a game all the underwater viewing domes just appear above the water

Loads of dinosaurs still starving or dying of thirst with ample water and food.

Very poor.
 
I experience the same. Some dinosaur that meet all the needs and cohabitation are all the time in panic mode and starve to death... medical car is busy since the update.

the stuck of medium to big marine species stuck in front of the shark feeder and starve to death is something new to me with this update.

dinosaurs warp often through functional fences now. i got alot of free roaming and guest eating carnivores without any damage to the fences.

the release animation of different species is buggy. example stegosaurus. if you release 4 of them the first one is sunken half into the bottom. saw that also on other animations. most of the time i release 4 of them.

Helicopter bug where the Helicopters just dont move is back too, love this game but im ing done with it. Bugs like these should not be a thing, or even add a setting where you cam manually destroy the transport helicopters
 
Yup, running into pretty much the same bugs here too, currently have played about 4 Square Map Sandbox games, these are the bugs I encounter in every game:


1. The Dunks and Kronos willf freeze after sometime if eating sharks. I hear Mosos also do the same. This one's a real killer, hope Frontier addresses this one first. One cheap workaround for now is not to place any shark feeders, and I guess no Mososaurus.

2. The lagoon platform rocks and viewing domes get all crazy, with the cylinder bases of the platforms landing on top of the platforms and the viewing domes floating, all this possibly after a save? I noticed in another game the viewing dome did not float back up when I hadn't placed lagoon platforms. This one's real ugly lol. One workaround is not to make any Northos or huge Turtles for now.

3. Some species, especially Torosaurus, will come out of a hatcher halfway underneath the ground. But quickly resurface to normal, this one's not a killer like the other 2.

4. As for the medical bug, I have seen some weird glitches here and there but nothing too nasty.

5. The biggest bug of all tho, thankfully it does not happen everytime, is a Mososaurus getting stuck in a hatcher. This one will kill your game, pray you have a saved file before this actually happens, otherwise you'll end up with a dead dino skull on your screen and a dead undecaying Moso somewhere.

Besides that, game is ok, when I get the must be transported into same aviary bug with a flying dino, I either just reawaken it, or if it's really stuck, I'll transport somewhere outside the aviary and re tranquilize it and have it transported back...

Worst bugs are 5, 1 and 2 by far.

i just found out that my allosaurus duo has "rana" as pattern but i haven unlocked it yet and i selected "lithobates" in the hatchery. no randomizer in the pattern (only in the skin). haven seen this before tbh. i am sure that during the egg selection it was "lithobates" like i selected it. in the stats after releasing ist "rana".

edit: i haven't researched "rana" yet. but on the gallimimus i can select it. that can be possible as not all patterns are on all dinos. i will not research it (its the last one missing) to check if i got others with a locked "rana" popping out with "rana" instead of what i selected.

PS> I've noticed the not being able to load game bug does not occur when Dunks eat via Shark Feeders, but they will always get stuck if they eat a shark, but can be tranqd and sold and if the game is saved afterwards, you're still fine. The Krono though is a different story I've noticed, if it gets stuck (And it can happen without shark feeders) it's game over lol. Cannot load afterwards. Never tested anything with the Mosasorus. The Krono seems to have been the most affected I'd think, followed by shark feeders since when present with Dunks, Dunks will get stuck. But Dunks are fine all game with no shark feeders. Just a quick FYI, but you probably already knew this.
 
I can play it only without shark feeders, and no Mosas and definitely no Kronos. All the rest of the species seem to be working well, including the marine species. Rock platforms and underwater viewing platforms have to be moved after every save though. Annoying but doable lol. Hope the fix comes.

I also seem to be getting a deadly train station bug that will not allow me to load a game if I save. It happens on mature parks (Always square maps, the only ones I play, sandbox). AS soon as I place a station and connect it with another one and save, game's gone, just tested it again.

I loaded an elder save when the map was a third filled with a smaller lagoon also, and the platforms all looked fine...I dunno the more I build the riskier it gets...Going to test if the aviary is making them bug out tomorrow.
