Plotting a route to a bookmark

I think I'm missing something, as I just can't work out how to plot a route to a bookmark? Every time I try it's red with the max distance exceeded message.

For example, I'm currently about 9k away from my home system, which is bookmarked (whilst I was in the system). But if I try to plot a route home either from the bookmark menu or the map, I can't.

What am I missing?

I think 9k is a bit much to plot a route.

Theres a 1000Ly limit to route plotting, pick a system in between that's less than that to you and plot the route then.

It was a bug, devs fixed it on a release. 1000LY is the limit

Theres a 1000Ly limit to route plotting, pick a system in between that's less than that to you and plot the route then.

This. What happens in Beta doesn't necessarily get transferred over, eg fish....
