I flew out to the Trifid Sector, close to the Trifid nebula, and am now trying to plot a route to stations that have the Pioneer Supplies. Searched for them with Inara and copy/pasted the system names to the Galaxy map in ED, which located them without problem. But it cannot plot a route to them. I have tried 3 systems now that are between 340 and 720 Ly away from where I am (Trifid Sector GW-W d1-220). Every time I get the error message "Plotting error. Route unavailable." What can this be? No scoopable stars on the way to the destination?

Possibly; check your filters. There might also be a wall of permit-locked systems blocking potential routes, or low star density meaning stars are further apart than your FSD's jump range.
I made the following change in the "User Data Mode/Map Mode_Visited Stars" and now it's working again:
"Visited" wasn't marked because I wanted to go only via not visited systems on the trip out.
I now marked it and that seems to have made the difference. Although out here, there are hardly any systems I've already visited.
