Half way through a heavy battle (hull down to 60%) - I jump away to repair my ship. And I realized there is a plus sign that I've not seen before. Anyone know what is this ?

And after docking to a station, full repair, it's still there. The ship is engineered a bit. Perhaps overcharged from incoming firing ? 
That usually shows up when you’re being healed I believe.

Seen it as well. Last evening was on my ship after I got out of the station and I've seen it on enemy ships in combat zone, even on enemies I was having a one-on-one so there was none nearby to heal them
Apparently I means Regeneration (duh!) but what's supposed to cause it - my educated guess with be the lasers special effects
Hud ship status indicators are presented on the wiki, found no mentions in game manual

After a game save / exit / restart, the sign is now gone.
My Shield Generator is engineered - could it means the modification kicks in ? Are your generator also engineered ?
