Horizons POI's

Iinntteerreessttiinngg - I have done quite a few planet-side ops, and NEVER seen any red exclusion zone - just find it by tripping it.
It may be that I'm red/green colour blind (mild) so red is a very dull colour and blue is a very bright colour...
Could you give me a hint where to find the System Colour selector to make it easier for me to see things like trip wires :-}
TIA Mijk

There's a link to the HUD customization tool in post #9 of this thread. Also in that post a link to a Reddit post which has examples of different colored themes that can be helpful to get started. :)

It only works if you are playing on PC. If you are on a console, I don't believe there is a way to change the HUD color scheme at this time.

A quick note here on that Editor:
1. Be sure to open the GraphicsConfigurationOverride.xml with something that will let you save it as the .xml file.

I use wordpad and make the changes then click save. Note pad will always turn it into a .txt file and then it won't work.

I always use notepad for editing .xml files - if you are making a new .xml file just select the "save as type" drop down as "All Files (*.*)" and give it a .xml filename - you might also want to select UTF-8 as the Encoding but ANSI default works too. (If you are editing an existing .xml file, then just click save and it saves it as is.)

I can see them on my SRV scanner but tripping them is really easy. it's usually only after I trip them that I look down and see the exclusion zone because I am chasing the signal source at full speed. Up pops the skimmers, warning goes off, I look down and see the more dark orange than red exclusion zone on the radar, specially if you have the zoom close and not set at max.

I found the file
I used the tool to turn the green and blue down a bit, edited the xml file using notepad++ saved it and started ED.
Yahhee now the SRV scanner shows a wall of sort of mud !!
Thank you all for the help - the rest of the screens seem ok so the tint adjust is subtle but does the trick :) :) :)

Good that it worked.. I am not color blind, just on an older lower resolution small monitor and being able to tweek the colors made a big difference for me. I had to resort to using the -100 to +100 extended range to get something that is working for me.
