Pokemon Go

Hey People, Everyone knows about the Pokemon Go game , i think. you guys like that game?? personally i just don't like that game because i just don't understand how to play it, how to carry it. I am getting seriously very confused after watching that game. According to me that game is not relate to anything in the real world because best and strong games are always relates to reality and show its virtual things as real one's. what you guys think?

I think it has kids outside and interacting with each other which is a good thing. Whether I understand it or not myself, I have been known to catch the occasional Pidgey in the cafeteria at lunch.

The bigger issue, is mobile app developers continuing to follow the disturbing trend of not including a way to close their damn apps after you open them. Come on, people.

You are absolutely right. Actually, that thing is first time happened with me in my life time as i just don't even understand the game's rules and regulations. I mean it's terrible. In reality , i just don't know the meaning of pokemon word. can anyone tell me the meaning of that.?? So that i "ll try to understand the game. Thanks.

I downloaded it because I thought it was a fun thing to do with my daughter. Now, I can go out and catch Pokemons by myself. I think it's a fantastic product that makes people walk and perhaps start to enjoy the outdoor activities more. :)

I downloaded it for my 8-year-old daughter, but she wasn't very interested in it, after all. After having caught a few of the critters she pretty much forgot about the whole thing. In the first days after the release of the game, I saw groups of teenagers roaming the streets trying to find Pokemons, but that lasted only for a few days. I wonder how quickly the number of actual players has dropped.

Nice Thread and discussion present over there. I also don't like that game as i am hard game player and love to play that all strong and new games but pokemon go has nothing new, It's concept is also old. I found it so much boring.

According to me , meaning of word pokemon is "pocket monster or any name given to game character". You can also check it out from google or from any other website. But according to me , that upper given answer is correct.

Yeah, great spying product, No pokemon around me thank you very much. It's a stupid game making people doing stupid things.

I think the honeymoon of this fad is coming to an end. I've definitely noticed a drop off in the number of people I have to watch out for on the street (I live next to a city park where you'd think Pokemon are just reproducing like the real rabbits that live there).

I actually think it'd be a shame for Niantic to let the game go on without adding new and engaging content, but I shouldn't be surprised. They let Ingress languish for a long time without a much needed update, and it was too late when it finally came out.

Games that get people out and exploring the places where the live is a good thing. Too many people have lost their sense of place as they whip by things in their cars, never paying attention to their own neighborhoods. It has neighbors coming out and meeting each other when the same people wouldn't recognize each other at the grocery store.

Now, I'm not much of a fan of the game since I'd just prefer to play regular Pokemon on a Gameboy, but I also don't get why people have such a thorn in their side about a silly little game.

well, yes, i downloaded it. i have to say i spent some years with the other augmented reality game of the same producer, so the whole gameplay experience wasn't really new to me. i also have to say, that i played the original pokemon games end of last century.

nevertheless, after a nice first hour, i was quite angry about the game design.

for me personally the basic idea - that you have to collect more of the same pokemon to level and evolve your pokemons - is very much against the spirit of the series. from "gotta catch them all" to "gotta catch them all multiple times". really, i mean the game is telling you "hey, you have found a wonderfull, rare creatures - now give it away and find the same again!". i'm not against "grinding" --- surprise surprise from someone on these forums ;-) --- but why don't you collect stones, plants or stars to level your pokemons? reaction of my daughter was similar, and my nieces hated to hand in the catched pokemons, too.

basically it brought me back to launching the first game of the producer.

... let's not talk about tracking with that kind of games ...

There's a Pikachu in my Anaconda.

hm. a pikachu bobblehead? maybe i'd take an eevee...

Huh, this description of it just made me think of catching bugs in my backyard and the woods as a child. Then studying them later in my child-made lab of bug horrors (pretty sure my folks thought I was going to be a serial killer, but I'm cool, really!)

Lol , I am very much happy by reading all the replies given by you people and seriously it's just a nonsense game.. Name of that game is just hilarious , I mean no proper sense or no proper meaning. I have just find meaning of pokemon on google and meaning is "pocket monster" http://www.babynology.com/meaning-pokemon-m14.html So the total meaning is "pocket monster run run run" haha!!! Rofl, developers of that game should have to work more on their skills.

how come?

" The concept of the Pokémon universe, in both the video games and the general fictional world of Pokémon, stems from the hobby of insect collecting, a popular pastime which Pokémon executive director Satoshi Tajiri enjoyed as a child." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokémon
