Police attacking each other?

So I'm bounty hunting in a high RES, and I see 3 internal security force anacondas going for each other and pulling no punches! has anyone else seen anything like this? I scanned them and they are all remaining clean even after they started killing each other? i'm very confused :p

Happens all the time. its very amusing. They stray into each others laser paths and attack each other. They need handbags, not lasers.

Hahahaha, totally... does that effectively make me that guy who is just standing and watching a cat fight instead of intervening?

Yeah, saw this today. All were green, and remained that way. But they were certainly slapping each other around. Not enough to actually kill each other.

This happens a lot in the Alcor RESs, every faction in Alcor seem to try to be both police and pirate and all put bounties on each other. I'm allied with every faction there so they show up green, but police from one faction will shoot up police from an other faction.

Gets confusing sometimes when there's pirates (who detect my bait gold cargo) and police of the same faction at the same place, every once in a while the "police" then join in with the pirates attacking me.

It's a great system for bounty hunting otherwise since shooting down 1 ship results in 6-7 bounties (4 factions, fed, empire, alliance), just very chaotic at times.
