Political Prisoners?

I just shot down an Imperial Orca which was carrying these. Scooped a few tons up. I take it this is going to be a usual black market run? Which is strange because you would think someone would be happy for their safe return!

What did you do with them?

Big hole in game. As an Aisling pilot I can rescue Torval's prisoners and set them free but it's worth next to nothing in game terms and faction orders are not to do it. I can get loads of merits for blowing up freighter-loads of Marked Slaves in Delaine space, and there is no way to free them. That's rather against my character concept and that of the faction leader. In fact, most of the undermining activities are war crimes. Maybe powerplay should be called "Dirty war" instead...

What do you mean?

Are you saying that's a bad thing to start off with?

It seems like a quick win to me and something people will understand easily enough.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

They're a power commodity. If your power can use them to undermine that faction, take them to a control system and drop them off.

Otherwise, they're worthless.

Yeah if I could check in marked slaves for an additional 1 merit each would make negligible difference in game terms but be a nice RP touch
