Oddly enough the Horizons splash screen on PC still has the Elite Wings on it.
Dislike it. Looks really amateur.

Yeah, the new one shares the same font design as Horizons. I suspect it'll change again in a few month for Horizons users, when it drops on this platform.

I predict a date very soon. Partly influenced by the new splash screen.
The old one was much nicer. Always made me smile seeing that logo again. So many memories of Elite from 1984 onwards. Must of played it on three or four systems over the years.
