my hope is for some news and teasers on 2.2... but release date? i reckon that may be a bit too optimistic.

they were (/are?)... and IF it will be going full release by the 22nd then we should have some hard dates very soon...

but i am expecting them to milk the hype for a few news letters rather than deliver all the good stuff in 1 go. i hope to be wrong tho.

Newsletters are uninteresting now for months, excluding the gamescom parts. Previously they would contain the dev updates but they removed them long ago.

I'm looking to stay out exploring one of the Neutron fields. I hope to find some Pulsars around.

Maybe they'll tell us about the beta start, but the full release will depend on beta feedback.

Before the release of every newsletter I always pray to the gods of ED for a sneak peek, a bit of new concept art, of some sorts.

I expect concept art from the 2.3 avatar generator and a video recording of the dev meeting where they discussed whether or not to include a setting for nostril hair curliness.

We'll get the 2.2 release date when they've decided on one. Some Gamescom stuff was only at the concept art stage, so they're probably in crunch mode and panicking about it...

We'll hear nothing about 2.3 for a long time.
At least not until FD digested all the rants from 2.2

Can't vote. All those options are far to exciting and interesting.

I'm fairly certain there will be at least 2 parts encouraging us to buy ED and Horizons.... i'm sure there must be at least 5 people out there who get the newsletter, do not have the game, and are not capable of finding out how to buy the game without being provided a link or three every week. They probably are not allowed to handle sharp objects though, so they probably don't own credit cards either.

I don't mind all the screenshots and news updates and bits and pieces that get put in the newsletter. The fact that i already know about that stuff from forums and reddit doesn't mean that everybody knows about it all. Not everyone follows the forums and other media.

I do wish there would just be some new news in each newsletter each week. A little sneak peak, a little bit of inside dev info... anything!

The last few have been a little light. Hoping for the hype building to start today, but don't expect it for another week or two. I cant see too many new reveals that weren't highlighted in Gamescon.

Just tell us how many bugs have been fixed, any background tweaks that have been applied, any loopholes or exploits patched. It doesn't have to be future stuff, just stats about the game would be better than the void of info we have right now.

The only part I look at is new stuff in-store. To be fair I don't read galnet much either.
