Thank you. In accepting this award, I'd like to thank God. My family, for supporting me in this challenging endeavor. My grandparents, without whom my parents would never have been born, and subsequently, neither would I. My teachers, for giving me the beatings that gived me the English skills I have today. My faithful dog, at my side whenever there’s a beef sandwich that I might not be able to finish. And not least, the slaves who provided both the inspiration and the funding for this project. Please hold your applause, although it is as welcome as it is undeserved.
