[Poll] What do you play as CMDR?

My character was working for the Trevichik station as a machinery driver (mostly cargo trucks that move wares from the docking bays to the warehouses).

The pay was ridiculous but he was there only to save up some cash to fulfil his dream, to be a ship commander.

When one of his family members passes away, he uses the inheritance and his savings to loan a ship and start the most exciting journey of his life.

At first he doesn't know what to do, he doesn't know how to make a living and he even thinks of giving up and returning to his old job, but he soon finds that he was made for commanding a ship.

Today he has done a small fortune mainly as a trader. His personal assets go well above 40 million credits and owns a Type -7 cargo ship, but he knows he won't always be a trader...

Without opening up a can of worms from elsewhere on the forum, mode selection should be checkboxes since we can switch freely between them and many of us do.

Outstanding stuff!

Alliance Pirates need some incentives!

This needs to be a sticky!

I'm running a survey about what role CMDRs play, what they fly, and how long they've been flying for.

The survey can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1a-DYY9Ca7VJQHwxs-8BD9YGUkgo-w93nAKck05GZJ4M/viewform

I hope you are taking regular screen shots or something. This is Elite History in the making!

Looks like the favorite ship for Bounty Hunters is the Viper (916), then the Cobra (832)

Might have looked at different times! It's now over 3000 people! With Cobra and Bounty Hunting taking the lead. I think a vast majority definitely do a few things so seeing Trading and Bounty Hunting up there probably has a lot of overlap (I know I do both!) as well as some of the other things.

Crazy seeing the clipper so low. I feel like a snowflake. Also not sure how the %'s work for the Open/Solo/Private distribution. Shows 59/15/8 in a pie chart but doesn't add up. Or is that out of total respondents and we can assume some didn't answer?

Also really encouraging to see the "Launch" and "Recent" numbers high up there.
