have you checked to see if your monitor is plugged into the graphics card, and not the motherboard?
the update did it! my animals are no longer blurry, the Zebras were the worst and now I can finaly look at them 
Yeah, same here. There's a couple of buildings that still look a bit funny, but the animals are great!
It doesn't seem to be in the patch notes on Steam, so perhaps it was an accidental fix? Maybe they fixed something else and it had a knock-on effect.
