Port Royal Zoo

From the caiman bridge, you can also see the African wild dogs on the other side, because you are entering now an African area.

Next, there's a large habitat, with plenty of water for a family of hippos.

Today your visit to Port Royal Zoo ends at a tropical African habitat with nyalas and okapis.

Your tour continues and you arrive at a small square which leads to the big savannah habitat:

Nextdoor you can have fun watching the warthogs:

And then, you will have a blast with a large African penguin habitat!

Then the path arrives at the koala habitat that you saw before. The koalas and kangaroos are on the backside of the big savannah habitat. So now the main panth is complete and the circle is fully closed. There's only a new area left to explore!

As you might have guessed, I'm hoping to finish Port Royal Zoo before the new DLC drops in.

That penguin habitat reminds me of that 1 bottlenose dolphin enclosure in ZT2 where you have to take photos of the animals. Is that what you based it off?

You are going to explore the last area of the zoo, a primate trail! Between the African penguin and the koalas, there's a small lake with some waterfalls and the archway that leads you to the trail. It's also a circular one like the bear trail, but this time you can explore it in any sense. All the habitats are similar, yet different. The climbing structures are different from one habitat to the other, and the layout too.

If you go left, the first animals that you see are the proboscis monkeys. They like to spenf time on the small island after having some bath.

Next, you can have fun watching the Japanese macaques.

If you look on the other side of the path, there's a large habitat for orangutans.

From Asia now you are transported to Africa and can admire the bautiful mandrills.

Look, a happy mandrill!

(The trail continues on the next episode)

The primates trail continues with a chimpanzee habitat:

Then you arrive at a lemur habitat (the old lemur habitat now houses Chinese pangolins):

And the trail ends with the gorillas:

And just like that the circular trail arrives to the starting point again.

Port Royal Zoo is basically finished now, but I will post some more pics about the lighting and general views.

And we are back in Port Royal Zoo for finishing the park!

Remember the big cats area in the temple ruins? A new animal has arrived between the jaguars and the cheetahs. Say hi to the cougars!

Now we go back to the bear trail, where the restaurant area has a new exhibit animal, the bullfrog:

And just like that we arrive at the last animal that Port Royal Zoo is getting. Although it's not a bear, the American alligator has turned the former lake in the bear trail into his home.

When I downloaded Port Royal from the Steam Workshop, I posted a comment but decided to post here as well today. I just want you to know that this is still one of my most favorite zoos to play. Whether you intended it or not, your build even allowed me to easily add a second entrance to the zoo. Inside the building across from the one with the American Bullfrog exhibit, it was easy to move the ATM and bear statue to place a spawner and entrance, then add a door to look like they are coming through that way. I'm now delighted to see more guests in that part of the zoo.

Thank you again, for sharing the zoo with the community. For those of us who are building a zoo impaired, this is so appreciated :)
