Positive Animal Interactions?

I haven’t seen this in the streams so far.

I’d love to see a lot of positive interactions between animals, e.g. grooming between two zebras, cubs playing with each other, calves suckling from mothers, mothers grooming offspring, animals chasing each other around playfully, sniffing at each other, sharing food, snuggling up together. I really, really would love to see more parental animations - suckling, teaching by play, grooming. It’s important. We saw a lion cub bite a lion’s tail in a trailer, that’s what I would love to see more of.

I’ve only seen animals fighting. It feels like they’re either fighting or just totally ignoring each other.

Hope we see a higher frequency of interactions between friendly animals and more varied animations soon!

Did you guys catch anything like this in the streams?

I have seen 2 lion cubs playing. But the streams did not really focus on animals that much, I am sure there will be many amazing friendly interactions between animals.

I hope BIS will focus a bit more on the animals in his evening stream. And also that there will be a dev stream showcasing animals in particular (on the other hand, I'm not sure I'd watch that as I am quite looking forward to finding out myself)

The problem with the streamers on Gamescon is that they have their limited build and limited time and they're trying to discover and showcase as many gameplay features as possible and animals kind of play the second violin to building and management.

I'm sure there will be quite a few friendly interactions. I do hope that in the next couple of days after everyone discovers everything that they will start to focus more on the animals. I am also really excited to find out myself as well (but there will be new animals when we get it so we'll still have interactions to discover!).

The stream I just watched, Rudi's stream, while it didn't showcase the animals, didn't have the hippos die within the first few minutes, and no animals broke out, atleast until the very end. A fun fact is that protesters will protest exhibit animals too.

How about this one?

BestinSlot's stream featured a lion cub playing with it's father's tail, just like we saw in the trailer. He was even completely zoomed in during the interaction, so it's very easy to see. I'll have to watch the rest of the streams to see what else happens.
