Possibility of Social Enhancements? ("Looking for Wings", Clan/Corporation Search, Recruitment Channel in Chat)

Has anybody heard of a possibility for social enhancements to the game?

From my experience in other MMO-style games (EVE, Guild Wars, Firefall, Wildstar, etc) there are typically chat channels that include something like "Looking for Group", or recruitment. I'm a very social gamer (CoD, EVE, Battlefield, Counter-Strike, etc) and regardless of which game I'm playing I am playing in/with a clan and in their respective teamspeak server.

This request combines some other threads as well, but if there existed a possibility to search for players and corporations in-game it would certainly add another layer to the social aspect of the game. I am envisioning the ability to look at a player's profile to view what their ranks are in exploration, combat, and trading, their membership status to a corporation and/or faction, the current ship they are flying, and if they are friends and allow this info to be shared with me - the system in which they are currently located. There could always be more added onto this, but if we as pilots in-game had more of an identity other than the ship we are flying and our presence in chat I feel we would have a deeper connection to the game and other players. It would also be pretty cool if we could create an avatar / emblem for ourselves. I know the risk of some pilots doing something immature with this, but a means for us to identify one friend from another apart from their name could only help. Lastly - and it is nothing huge - it would be cool if we had the ability to create a biography of our own character/avatar to portray our own personality to other pilots / potential wingmates.

I think that this would be a great thing to implement at certain stations, as a kind of bulletin board thing. Register on the board your rank, ship, and intent, and someone can look at those and send you a message. Or, you can look at other people's info, and send them a message.

In the mean time, someone with web page creation skills could make a simple third party website that could handle your suggestion pretty simply, right?

If this one would read the entirety of the post this one would find that it has very little - if anything - to do with guilds at all.

This one read and comprehended, and this one found this:

I'm a very social gamer (CoD, EVE, Battlefield, Counter-Strike, etc) and regardless of which game I'm playing I am playing in/with a clan and in their respective teamspeak server.
to be entirely about guilds. Therefore, the link one posted earlier is entirely relevant.

This one references a post about supporting guilds in the game, in a thread about bringing group finding framework into the game, and is therefore posting irrelevant content.

If this one cannot see the relevance, then respectfully this one is lost.
This one should explain the context under which a guild discussion is relevant to wing recruitment infrastructure so that us lost ones don't have to parse through 235 pages to find the important bit.

That should be visible in the station menu. These are quality of life improvements. Players could pay some credits to post a Looking for Wing request and it'll be listed for a certain time.

Yes I hope we get more character info about other players in Elite. Then it'll be easier to find suitable Wing members.
