Imagine (just for the sake of explaining what I mean) a full plasma FDL build.
Everything is set to one fire group.
With this suggested option we could set which of the five weapons should fire depending on the weapons capacitor load.
This way you could focus your aim on those weapons. Also in case of weapons layout with different weapon types you could still put them in the same firegroup and determine which one should fire in case the capacitor is too low for all of them.
