I disagree. FC’s generally lose money over time. They can save the owner some of his/her time, by for instance, overpaying for Tritium. They can “buy low” at one location, then move to a location where they can “sell high”. But if you factor in the initial cost for the FC, the fuel cost (in mining time or over payment to buy from others) and the weekly upkeep, it’s very hard to turn a profit. At best it will take a long time to recoup initial costs and it’s far less income per hour or per day than even a modest beginner can get by shooting rocks, scanning salad, or a number of other more lucrative money making activities. So I say it’s not worth it, and none of the above are “passive”, in fact they need frequent attention. People buy FC’s for other reasons than making credits.
