Possible hybrids in game

Good morning jurassic friends,
I have been thinking about the subject of the hybrids and I am really intrigued by the method of creation on these dinosaurs that we have also seen in Jurassic World: The Game for Android / IOS. For Jurassic World Evolution I know Indominus Rex will be here, but probably we can also see the Stegoceratops.

I would love to see the Carnoraptor, Spinoraptor .... Imagine that Frontier add the unstoppable and majestic ¡Ultimasaurus!, in this game at least as a future Hybrid DLC ????

Which hybrid would you like to see in this new release?

Regards! :)

Only the two from the movies, I really like to see them add more real species in the future and hopefully find a way to bring aquatic and avian dinosaurs in the game.

We won't be able to create our own hybrids and I personally don't care. It would be too much for Frontier to pull off and I think it would be impossible actually. They would have to make new models for every possible combination. The only hybrids that will be in the game are premade ones. Like in the Indo-Rex and the Indo-Raptor.

Stegoceratops could be a very likely possibility when considering how it was originally going to appear in JW at some point, has highly detailed concept art and was a part of the toyline.

The other hybrids that were also briefly seen in the background on Dr. Wu’s computer in the secret laboratory are also possible.

To be honest I am no fan of Hybrids at all, but I do enjoy the idea of mix dinosaurs names like ... Velotricera ... Paradilophosophus ... IndoGallimimus Rex ... or "Ian Grant" [big grin]

While I think it would be neat to have the Indominus or the Indoraptor, I think I would prefer real dinosaur species first. But that's just my two cents.

Does anyone even know if hybrids like Indominus have been confirmed for the game or is it just adding the different animal genes? I'm curious. :S

Surely only the Indominus Rex and the Indoraptor will appear. In Nick Rodgers words (head of animation in Frontier): "We follow the steps of the movies, so we can make modifications within the real dinosaur base. We did not want abominations to be created."

I understand that it is more teeth, but is it really necessary? Maybe my opinion comes from that I prefer old movies, but is not enough with original dinosaurs? It's like Owen and Claire's conversation about the wow factor :D

I heard that Frontier has no plans to include the Indoraptor in the game at any point in time, even as DLC. Can anyone confirm this?

Where did you hear that?
Just read the Creative Director Michael Brookes Interview
A quote:
"Potentially, there’s post-release content or updates?
Michael Brookes: I cannot comment on that at the moment, I’m afraid. But yes, we’ve got the Fallen Kingdom release in mind, so those things to tie-in with that."

I'm pretty sure there will be a JWFK dlc and it would make no sense to leave out the Indoraptor.

Indominus and Indoraptor sure, but i don't really want to create other abominations. Plus, they said that they're staying true to the lore, and after the Indoraptor they seem to have stopped working on hybrids

I actually heard on Reddit, that they actually confirmed a Fallen Kingdom DLC at the event, but aren't allowed to talk about it or somehting like that.

God, please don't let that monstrosity be in the game lol. Stegoceratops is such an eyesore.

The third hybrid you posted looks like a Therizinosaur. I'd love for that to be in the game.

From what I saw in the Development Build of the game (YouTube Footage, of course.)
the option to create Hybrids will be unlocked after certain requirements are met.

So, Players have the option to clone natural dinosaurs, or hybrids if they so wish to.

Given how 'normal' dinosaurs are labeled as "Non-Hybrids" in their menus,
I expect hybrids to play a major part in the game's narrative.

Perhaps the one thing that sets Ian Malcolm over the edge, and turns him against you
(I know Claire Dearing won't like having another Indominus Rex cloned after what happened in 2015.)

Personally, though. I hope we will be given the option to create more hybrids than JUST the ones featured in the films.
As given how difficult it will be to unlock the option, we deserve to make more than just One, or Two Hybrids

(and, I doubt the Indoraptor will be an option, given the gap between the Game and Film's release date.)

I expect not ALL Dinosaur Genomes are viable for hybridization.
(But, those that are, I have no doubt Frontier have made models for.)

So, not only do I expect non-canon Hybrids to be created..but, I am hoping for it as well.
The option alone only adds to the creativity of this Theme Park Simulator.

And, besides that. If the game wants to enforce Malcolm's warning in the original Jurassic Park:

"Just because we CAN, doesn't mean we SHOULD."

Then, giving players the option to do something like this puts Malcolm's words to the test.
By having us as players ask if we should create hybrids, despite the game giving us the option.

I think you are going to be disappointed, the devs already said they don't want any abominations in the game and they are going to respect the lore.
So, there will more than likely only be the 2 movie hybrids in the game, the Indominus Rex in base game and Indoraptor via dlc.

It's admittedly not for everybody and would have to be toned down a lot to match the overall feeling of the rest of the game, but I see the potential for a really unique dinosaur.

Again, there's no accounting for taste.

AND, possibly the Stegoceratops, which was intended for the 2015 film (it even had a toy),
and only scrapped so to make the Indominus more unique in the film's narrative.

I doubt the same issue will be applied to the game's original story.
So, at the very least, we may get three "canon" Hybrids.

though, even I expect the Stegoceratops to be DLC, IF it is included, that is.
