Possible lag issue

I played ED when I gently be struck by lag. In Supercruse mode it is not happening.
But during the fight and landing at the station there is a lag which increases and become more frequent, intensed as i approach to the object (station, other spacecraft).

What is the problem? My connection - No, System specification - No.

Yes, exactingly like that. I spoke about that lag from first video.
What is this?

I play smooth first half hour, maybe hour without a that lag.
After some time, its happen again.

That is your game completely freezing. It's not a latency thing.

The good news is, it doesn't happen to most people - which means you should be able to resolve it. The bad news is it might be hard to track down.

Whilst your system, you say, is a good enough specification, it may not be running optimally, or even at all well. You will have to run through troubleshooting to try and narrow down what is causing your system to act unlike other peoples.

From the look of the complete freezing in that video; it would suggest that it isn't your computer generally straining, as this tends to be more a consistent stuttering. To start off you can basic things:

* Make sure all your drivers are up-to-date (sound, graphics, chipset, etc).
* Check you're running the latest BIOS
* Remove/disconnect any hardware not at the minimum required for playing the game
* Try disabling your sound-card
* Shutdown any anti-virus or anti-malware applications
* Shutdown background processes (both applications and services) that you don't require
* Make sure you don't have any video capture software running

What graphic card do you have? and specifically brand? i've heard about memory leaks in latest drivers on both amd and nvidia's side, though if you aren't using beta this shouldn't be the issue, but it sounds like a memory leak.

Are you sure its lag and not low fps?

I was having the same thing and downloaded "Realtemp" to find out my CPU was hitting 100 degrees celcius. Switched out the stock cooler and applied new thermal paste and taaddaaa no more lag.

I have no this kind of issue on other game. Only with Elite Dangerous i have.
My spec:
Q6600 (quad core) with Katana Scythe 2 cooling system.
4 gb ddr2
HD 7770 GHz Edition 1 gb ddr5 (Powercolor), lastest driver (Omega)

Early (before last patch 1.7) i don't have this issue with Elite Dangerous.

I found where is the problem.
WatchDog.exe is related with Elite Dangerous game. I opened Task Manager and kill process. Game is suddenly shut down. When I started the game again everything was back to normal.

Elite Dangerous Launcher make in game CPU lag issue.
Please, FD team check this, fix issue or tell me what to do.
My way of solving the this kind of problem is: Task Manager - Kill Process WatchDog.exe, and start game again.
Before killing a process i save game.

Problem solved 2. method:
Go to Task Manager, open Processes, go to WatchDog.exe and set CPU Priority on Above Normal, then i reroll set on Normal.
Work fine.

I did a couple of things, for me it worked.
First , I checked the sound card in properties.

Go to: Control Panel/Sound (double click on default sound device) in speaker properties pick "card" Advanced, under Default format pick 24bit, 48000hz (studio quality) or 44100hz if you don't have first.

That was step 1.
Step two is settings in Game.

In sound options must have everything on, and sound power put on half or high.
In graphic options there is Field of View (view distance), put it on maximum.

My opinion is that this option with the field made a lag.
Because the lag that happens every time the aircraft suddenly might pass with my. It was first away, then suddenly approached. At the remote site graphic details are not rendered, when the spacecraft closer to mine, graphic effect suddenly been rendered.
