Possible to know State of Civil War system without flying there?

Is it possible to find out the State of a Civil War system without flying there? I want to find a system that's in the outbreak state...

The galaxy map can do this for you. I don't have the capability to take screenshots right now, but the filters screen is usually defaulted to allegiance, so look for a drop down saying that. Change it to system state, and then start unticking boxes. IT has the limitation I think that it shows the state of the controlling faction, so there may be factions in outbreak in other systems that the filters won't pick out for you. I'm sure someone will correct me on that if it's wrong. Hope it helps!

After doing what Ashen says, you can check the system map for the state of the non-controlling factions, if you already have the data, or are close enough to buy it.
