Possible to toggle head-turn menus on/off when using VR?

I'd love to be able to look around without the menus constantly appearing and blocking my view. Especially now that the SRV menu has been added and seems to pop up all the time. I have no idea how to achieve this, though. A toggle switch for turning head-turn menus on and off would be cool. Does such a thing exist? Thanks in advance!

Hey Katkon,
I'm at work so cannot verify, but I use the X52 Pro and have my pinkie button assigned to 'UI Panel Focus' or something like that. When I hold this down, the menus do not appear when I look around.
Have a look in the control config, there may be an option to enable 'Toggle' for it.

Let me guess, it's the new UI panel by your nuts that's griefing you.
Is for me. And I can confirm that there is ndeed a UI Focus type button map available that hides all UI panels. Only on a Hold rather than a Toggle tho. It's in the UI submenu, funnily enough.

You can toggle all panels in 1.5 and 2.0. Comms/Sensors (also SRV panel) Navigation & Systems. I have configured them so they only display/close when I give the appropriate command via voice attack. Perfect for VR

Go to 'MODE SELECTION' in the controls option. Switch the desired panels to 'Does Nothing'

Yep, did this last night as the the new bottom panel was a bit irritating in VR

I done is last night too. So much better imo. but as I cannot get my rift to work. I'm using my old trackIR 5 again.

Even if you start the chat window, the other panels should not appear and you should be able to look around without nothing poping out. This is what I remember,maybe things changed.
My god i don't see the time to reach home and start downloading :-(

This is the single most amazing thing they have done. I would have paid £50 for this feature alone. I finally feel free as a bird in VR to look around in my ship and SRV.
