Possible to transfer to PC?

Hey folks - long time ED player and lurker here.

That said, I’ve barely played ED or my XBox since the beginning of lockdown in 2020 and now my XBox is packed away for the moment as I try and focus on more constructive pastimes.

I’ve progressed quite far in the game and intend to return to the big black one day but probably on PC.

With that said, is it possible to transfer my Commander and status and all the data and ships etc from XBox to PC or do I have to start from scratch?

If that transfer oprion isn't available anymore, you can ask the support to do the "old fashion" transfer, which means transferring only your money.

TBH, why on Earth there's no sticky post about this on both console sections? Even if the post was locked and only a link to the post I linked here, it would be immensely helpful. @sallymorganmoore please (sorry to ping you, but you seem to be the only active staff member around here)...

Ive just discovered I can do the transfer, I packed my Xbox away when I found out consoles were no longer supported, as im not a big gamer and only ever played ED. However, ive gone through the transfer process and when I lo into the launcher on my desktop it just tells me to buy or redeem Horizons and I cant for the life of me work out how to do that ! Can some one please point me n the right direction.

Your a PC user now so you have to deal with PC licence verification issues they had all a long... fun times
you select login with Existing account option on the PC launcher..
When using fdev direct version you had to login with The new PC email and password for the PC account...
This will then spit out a Verification code to that email... you then type in the code and the launcher can craps out...
This does not mean the code failed it means the launcher is rubbish.
Many people had to shut down the launcher and then restart it and then the account is verified via a slow dial home to server...
After each code from email the launcher can need a Reboot untill the new activre PC version is verified and the installation can start..
