Possible Workaround for too dark lightning

I think I may have stumbled over the reason for the players who experience too dark overall graphics.

Info: The lightning is still of and needs fixing, this is only for the "gamma" problem

I think the guy who posted the analysis with the mix of the shaders with HDR and non HDR was onto something.
If I switch my display itself (in my case: Sony 55" 4K TV) in its settings to "HDMI Full Range" explicitly, bit keep the HDR settings in Windows OFF, I get rather normal contrast again.
The colors are a bit washed out and funnily I can't capture this correctly via screenshots, but all in all it looks really good.

Pro:
  • The overly bright sun coronas are gone
  • The shading of stations etc nearly have a photo realistic shading
  • The gamma settings are all three visible as they should be ;)
  • I can see the Milky Way looking nearly the same as in Horizons!
  • Same for nebulas and stars
  • My Coriolis bobblehead looks right again ;)
  • Ship glow in shipyard and hangar is fine

Con:
  • Black is now a very dark gray
  • The ship in the loading screen has a slight glow to it
  • as mentioned colors are bit washed out
  • Glowing seems still of sometimes
  • Cockpit can still be very dark in deep space, but who switches on the light IN their car while driving anyway :)

Can anyone test this on their end?

I think the Designer who made these shaders had a wrong combination of RGB spectrum settings maybe while they worked on that?
