Post 1.3.7 no shaders being built at boot time.

And judder back and freezing. So what did they do. :eek: Have they removed the Xbone optimization or the Mac optimization.

(NVidia) - I still get the shader pin wheel each time and still do not have stuttering issues.

Nothing in the patch notes to suggest changes in this area that I can see.

I still have the shader spinning thing. No stuttering in SC or near station / planet. Although I only docked once last night.
I have Nvidia.

I'll have a look at this tonight. Running an MSi R9 390 8G. Not had a problems with stuttering at all but will check for the shader wheel to see what happens and report the results :)

No stutter in stations now. SC is super smooth. Less stutter in RES but still micro ones making fights hard to keep tracking targets. Only seen 1 other player in dock. Non elsewhere which was really weird. I think they are goofing about with number of players in any one Instance just to see how it works out.

here is the change at 1.3.7

In the <PlanetNoiseTextures> tag:
- On Windows, Enabled="auto" is equivalent to Enabled="1".
- On OSX, Enabled="auto" is equivalent to Enabled="1" unless the GPU
model name shown in the game's 'graphic options' screen is (ignoring
case) one of those listed in the <AutoDisableOnOsx> child tags of the
of the <PlanetNoiseTextures> tag.
- On both Windows and OSX, ShaderWarmingEnabled="auto" enables shader
warming if the GPU detected by the game is an NVIDIA model, and
disables shader warming otherwise.
-->
<PlanetNoiseTextures
Enabled="auto"
ShaderWarmingEnabled="auto"
