I absolutely love the random bits of lore or story that some systems have, and I am wondering what your favourite is. Mine is definitely the piece of description about PSPF-LF2. I am looking forward to hear from you Commanders about your favourite system with a bit of lore.

Would be really nice if we could get more people to write up system information, and provide some names for the planets and stations.
Also: Another nice thing would be if every system had a short generated info text in the style of FE2 (think: Outdoor world; Tourism and Fishing).

i agree with you 100%. i love the lore in the game. lets hear it people!

Well, I travel around a lot trading, and some times, I try to make my own system infos for systems I find interesting a lot, including non-generic star, planet and station names. I'm not a great worlbuilder, but it's a fun thing to do when travelling around...
As for best descriptions, I like the way the description was structured in the Beta systems. Sadly, that region is kind of ruined now (Chango is mostly land, is not a Marine Agriculture world anymore, etc...)

The description for the Agartha system states, it's origin of the "Braben Woolens spun by the fair hands of lovely maidens from only the finest wool of genetically engineered sheep".

And each time i visit Agartha, I wonder, why this is not a rare good... woolens spun by fair maidens from genetically engineered sheep... c'mon, the galaxy for sure needs this stuff!

nice one. amazing to hear from you. this is one of the main reasons i love elite so much. those inside jokes and pieces of random lore in the galaxy.

It's not a new ship - it is a ship from the original 16bit Elite that I wish to see again in Elite: Dangerous. I've yet to persuade the developers, however... ;)
