Ship Name: Bebop
Jump Range (Full Tank): 68.93
1000 ly trip jumps (aprox): 15

First picture is as im using her for normal exploring with both scanners, one SRV, a 3D shield, 2 5A AFMU, class 5 cargo rack and also a corrosive resistant, 7A fuels scoop, 1D PD, 3A PP and 5D thrusters. FSD has a 52.1% increase in range.

Second picture is an empty shell with 4D thrusters and a class 3 fuel tank.

I you are running an 8t fuel tank, and your fsd got a max fuel boost, adding an extra 2t can increase the range, on your fully stripped build that is. Just a thought CMDR o7

How many times have you rolled the dice to get this far with FSD..? I wasted material for at least 40-50 turns and could not cross efficiency which would take me above 60 :(

Have to try that, i think i have a fuel boost, thanks!

Hm not sure but i think around 30-40 rolls. But thats the problem with the RNG, my G5 dirty thrusters on the FDL have an optimal multiplier of 39.5% and i got it after 5 rolls so yeah.
And i saw people with an FSD of 54% so i have still room for improvement but for now im happy with that [smile]

Do you have lightweight sensor and lifesupport? You can also get secondarys effects on the power distributor and some other modules that help!

Fully exploration laden including shields, 2 SRVs, mining laser, scanners & fuel limpets.

:D

I wonder how the new engineer (every upgrade will be better than your last) mechanic will work here? Looking like our hard work may have been in vain as they are giving engineers "easy mode". I guess as long as it benefits the game as a whole, it is worth losing a record or two, but the time spent has been epic.

Hrhm, this thread resurfaced to the front of forums, and I notice I'm the last in the list nowadays. Well, that's not going to change by *too* much, I'll just post my latest iteration of the same good old AspX, now overengineered to the max (well, not really that either, I dislike farming for engineering mats so much that I tend to keep the "fairly good looking" roll after a few tries instead of trying for a hundred attempts for the absolute best)

First a link to edshipyard, where all the engineering stats should be correct and doublechecked (at least up to the precision the game gives me; not sure if there'd be exact numbers to be found in journal files or something, hmm, maybe I shold look into that)

Jump range (full tank): 45.21
Max jump range: 48.36

There's some discrepancy between edshipyard calculations and what's shown in game, most likely due to precision errors in inputting the masses to edshipyard.

Hi

I have sent a mail to a moderator asking to lock this thread since I don't have much time to update it any longer.

If anyone else want to pick it up and make a new thread, you are more than welcome :)

That is a shame but seems sensible. Thanks for providing a forum thread for those of us that have enjoyed it. Good luck, and fly safe CMDR o7

I'm going to step in a curate this one. Sag A* V.4 is nearly up to date and CMDR Reaper has kindly forwarded me his XLS sheet for this.

Hopefully not to hard to figure that one!

Thanks to Reaper for bringing this to us :)
