Post Your Most Dangerous Neutron Star

Alright!

This game is both called Elite and Dangerous. Most people may reduce that to combat-bound game components. Not so us explorers! We all know them, barely visible stars that can catch you off-guard and ruin your flawless run through the galaxy.

Neutron Stars!

I must admit, I just made my first experience with them, rather close to the bubble at Barnard's Loop. Instantly in awe by this major danger one must face while exploring, I instantly had to jump into the forums. Thus, after jumping between various ideas for threads, here's one that should come to benefit everyone.

What's the most dangerous face-off with a neutron star that you had? How hot was your hottest? How many solar masses had your greatest? How old was your oldest? Some of you may have been to the infamous neutron fields and have seen an interesting candidate or two.

My first comes with almost 2,5 solar masses and an incredible surface temperature of around 7,2 mK! Both values exceed the common values of a neutron star as given by the all-trustworthy dictionary wikipedia (E: 2,01 solar masses as the greatest known, and an average surface temperature of 6 mk). It orbits an spectral B with a solid 9,3 solar masses and a much cooler 23 571 K. I was emergency-dropped from super cruise at 0,13 light seconds!

Simply impressive how they merge with the stars of other systems in the distance while cooking your ship.

This one was a bit hot, to say the least...

but nowhere near as hot as yours :)

Oh yes, I remember my first white dwarf. "What's this? Seems a bit small. Can I scoop it?" Since then, I live by the rule that the danger level of a star behaves anti-proportional to its size.
